Beach Hut, Blue Hour
One bare bulb carries the whole evening.
The setup
The key is the bare tungsten bulb in frame, hanging just above him: hard and warm. Blue-hour sky through the open door keeps the background cold, and the gap between the two colour temperatures carries the frame. The dark wall of the hut works as negative fill, so the shadow side stays closed.
On a budget
One light is enough: hang a bare bulb (or a dimmable tungsten practical) about half a metre above your subject and shoot at the start of blue hour.
